Garbage Disposal service provided by GDS-Davie. Any trash must be put in trash bags and tied and all trash bags must be put in trash receptacles. Citizens provide their own trash receptacles. Three 32-gallon cans are the maximum per week. Scheduled pickup is on a weekly basis, very early each Tuesday morning. The Town suggests that you place your garbage out on Monday nights - please do not include any YARD WASTE in your garbage.
Recycling is provided by Davie County with GDS-Davie and is on the same day as your garbage pick-up day. Please have your recyclables at the curb by 7am. Place all recycle materials in the 18-gallon bin that GDS-Davie has provided for you. Items that are accepted for recycling are:
- mixed paper such as magazines
- catalogs
- junk mail
- office paper
- empty cereal boxes
- phone books
- aluminum cans
- plastic soda bottles
- milk jugs
- newspaper
