Town Board

Cooleemee's governing body is made up of a mayor and a four-member Town Board of Commissioners.

Regular Monthly Meetings are held on the 3^rd Tuesday at 6pm at Town Hall unless otherwise posted in advance on Town bulletin board located between the Cooleemee Post Office and the Cooleemee Hardware Store.

On November 6, 2007, John Chandler was re-elected to serve a four-year term as Mayor and Freddie Carter and Tommy Daywalt were elected to each serve a four-year term as Commissioner. On November 8, 2005, Fran Parker was re-elected to serve a four-year term and Earl Lester was elected to serve a four-year term as Commissioner. Voter registration forms are available at Cooleemee Town Hall.
